1. Auxiliary Start Switch
The Auxiliary Start System permits using the coach battery (see
"ELECTRICAL SYSTEM" chapter) to start the motor home engine
if the chassis battery is discharged.
Simultaneously push button and tum ignition key. Release when en·
gine starts.
If both the chassis and coach batteries are dead, the engine will not
crank. Sufficient cranking charge may be restored to the coach batter-
ies by plugging in to an external 11 OV AC electrical source or by running
the generator.
The Auxiliary Start System has no effect on the vehicle except to aid in
starting the motor home engine. If the vehicle alternator is operating
properly, the batteries will be recharged while driving (see "ELECTRI·
CAL SYSTEM" chapter).
NOTE: If extended normal driving does not recharge the batteries,
see an authorized Fleetwood motor home service center.

2-Speed Windshield WiperlWasherwith Delay- Tum knob clockwise for
wiper action.
·OFF - No wiper action.
1 st notch - Wiper delay ON. Tum outer knob clockwise for longer delay
between wiper strokes.
2nd notch - Slow wiping action.
3rd notch - Fast wiping action.
To WASH, press inner knob, then release. One press of washer knob
, cycles wipers once. The washer nozzles are located on the wiper
arms close to the wiper blades and move with the blades to provide
continuous washer coverage.

7_ Heater/Air Conditioner Controls

IN position - Ught Is on and air conditioner compressor is ON for
cooling.
OUT position - Ught is off and air conditioner compressor is OFF.
TEMP Lever Push
to
the left for cooler air and right for warmer air.
Push lever to full left position and the air will recirculate for
maximum air conditioning.
OFF-FAN-HI OFF - System is
~ff.
No compressor, no fan operation.
FAN - System is ON and fan operates
OR
at low speed.
HI - Fan operates at high speed.
PANEL Air is directed
to
dash outlets.
BI-LEVEL Air is directed to both dash and floor outlets.
FlOOR Air is directed to the floor outlets.
DEFROST Air is directed to the windshield outlets. Air conditioning
can be turned on to dehumidify the air and aid the defroster.

Switches power to the radio between the chassis battery and the
coach battery.
