This manual contains repair information for the GMA 347 Audio Panel/Marker Beacon Receiver.
Unit description, theory of operation, troubleshooting, testing, and replacement procedures are
included. Installation information is contained in the GMA 347 Installation Manual,
P/N 190‐00917‐01. Operating information is contained in the GMA 347 Pilot's Guide,
P/N 190‐00325‐00.
1.1 MODEL DESIGNATION
There are four GMA 347 models, the GMA 347 (in black or grey bezel), GMA 347H (helicopter),
and the GMA 347 (white LED). Each model is identified by a different part number (see Table 1‐
1). The GMA 347 is the standard model, which is available with a black or a grey bezel. The
GMA 347H (helicopter) version has the pilot and copilot control knobs on the front panel
reversed from the standard GMA 347 and is available with a black bezel only. The GMA 347
white LED model has white LEDs that illuminate the keys (as opposed to the green LEDs on the
standard model), and is available with a black bezel only.
