Taking pictures by setting the aperture value and
shutter speed
Determine the exposure by manually setting the aperture value and the shutter
speed.
The Manual Exposure Assist appears on the lower portion of the screen to
indicate the exposure.

Turn the aperture ring to select the aperture value

Turn the shutter speed dial to select the shutter
speed
[Manual Exposure] Mode is set and the recording
mode icon changes to [M].

You may not be able to select some values depending on zoom position.
