  • Page 4 3.0 Introduction These quick start instructions describe how to configure the S7 NetServer with 2 zones of an S7 NetAmp.   • Page 6 5.0 Set up server inputs on NetAmp 5.1 Once booted up you can find the IP address of the NetServer using a FREE App called Fing. Type the IP address into a browser and open up the web set up page. e.g.
  • Page 7 5.4 Open up another page on the web browser and enter the IP address of the NetAmp. e.g. enter: 192.168.1.133 5.5 Press Source Setup and you will be prompted to enter a user name and password. By default these are set as follows: User Name: admin Password: password 5.6 You must obtain the MAC addresses associated with sources 3 and 3A from the server.
  • Page 8 5.7 It is now possible for the NetAmp to obtain its corresponding MAC addresses by pressing Get MAC for sources 3 and 3A. You will find that the address that gets populated corresponds to that listed on the server, but using lower case letters.
  • Page 9 6.0 Name the zones 6.1 Press Zone 1 Setup from the open window, accessing the NetAmp from the list on the left hand side. 6.2 Rename the zone by entering text and press Save. 6.3 Repeat the process for Zone 2. 7.0 Rip a CD 7.1 Plug a USB CD drive into the 3rd USB socket on the NetServer.
