Airbags on driver's side

To supplement the protection afforded by the
seatbelt (p. 25) on the driver side, the car is
equipped with two airbags (p. 30).
One of the airbags is folded up into the centre
of the steering wheel. The steering wheel is
marked AIRBAG.
Knee airbag on the driver's side in a left-hand-
drive car.
The second airbag (at knee level) is fitted in
the lower part of the instrument panel on the
driver's side; this panel is labelled AIRBAG.
WARNING
The seatbelts and airbags interact. If the
belt is not used or is used incorrectly, this
may diminish the protection provided by
the airbags in the event of a collision.

Passenger airbag

To supplement the protection afforded by the
seatbelt (p. 25) on the passenger side, the car
is equipped with an airbag (p. 30).
The airbag is folded up into a compartment
above the glovebox. Its cover panel is
marked AIRBAG.
