Removing and Cleaning the
Filter
To remove, slide it to the side using the
tab. Pull it down and out.
To clean the grease filter, soak
them and then swish them around
in hot water and detergent. Don't
use ammonia or ammonia products
because they will darken the metal.
Light brushing can be used to remove
embedded dirt.
Rinse, shake and let them dry before
replacing.
To replace, slide the filter in the frame
slot on the left side of the opening. Pull
up and to the right to lock into place.
Filtro de Carb6n (en algunos
modelos)
El filtro de carb6n no puede ser
limpiado. Debe ser reemplazado.
Ordene el NOde Pieza WB02X!0776 a
trav6s de su proveedor de GE.
Si el modelo no tiene ventilaci6n hacia
afuera, el aire ser_ recirculado a trav_s
de un filtro de carb6n descartable
que ayude a retirar el humo y los
olores. El filtro de carb6n deberfa ser
reemplazado cuando est_ notoriamente
sucio o descolorido (normalmente luego
de entre 6 y 12 meses, dependiendo del
uso de la campana).

Para retirar el filtro de carb6n, primero
desconecte la corriente desde el fusible
principal o disyuntor, o empuje el cable.
Retire la rejilla superior retirando los 4
tornillos que la sostienen en su posici6n.
Deslice el filtro hacia la parte frontal del
homo y retire el mismo.

Para Instalar el Filtro de Carb6n
To install a new filter, remove plastic and
other outer wrapping from the new filter.
Inserte el filtro en la abertura superior
del homo, como se muestra. Una vez
instalado correctamente, la malla de
alambre del filtro deberfa estar visible
desde el frente. Reemplace la rejilla y los
4 tornillos.
