4. PRINCIPLES OF OPERATION The Whale® Touch Control Cooktop is designed for use in marine vessels or recreational vehicles for indoor use only. The cooktop is operated by touching the symbols on the glass surface providing a smooth unobstructed surface for ease of cleaning. - Page 4 8. APPLICATION Whale® Touch Control Cooktops are designed for use in recreational marine vessels or recreational vehicles only and operated on AC electrical supply only. If it is intended for any other purpose it is the user's responsibility to ensure that the appliance is suitable for the intended use.

Note: When the unit is initially powered up, you will hear a loud ‘beep’ and all the LEDs of the controllers will briefly illuminate.

Please note that the physical characteristics of pots and pans influence the performance of cooking. Heat is transferred through the glass top to the cooking vessel. Proper contact of the cooking vessel with the stove top will ensure that heat is readily absorbed. Whale recommend the following pan types: •... - Page 8 Cleaning To clean your grill, Whale® recommends using a damp cloth and drying thoroughly. Stubborn spots caused by spillage and discolouration from heat may be removed using lemon juice, vinegar, or chrome polish. Care must be used to keep these away from porcelain enamel surfaces.
