8.3 REPLACE SPEEDOMETER CABLE

Disassemble the handlebar cover.
Unscrew the speedometer cable nut.
Unscrew the speedometer cable fixing bolt on the front
wheel.
Remove the worn speedometer cable.
Install the replacement speedometer cable in reverse order
of removal.
NOTE: Before installing the new speedometer cable,
apply grease to the inner line of this cable.
8.4 REPLACE HANDLEBAR
Remove the left and right mirrors.
Remove the handlebar cover.
Disconnect the speedometer cable and switch
connections.
Disassemble the rear brake cable and rear brake lamp
connector near the left handlebar.
Release the right grip assembly.
Disconnect the throttle cable.
Unscrew the brake oil cylinder assembly retaining bolt.
Remove the brake oil cylinder assembly.
