Cleaning and Replacing the Filter

Clean the fi lter regularly or air intake effi ciency may deteriorate and malfunction may occur.

Remove the inner fi lter
Lift up while pushing the claw

Clean the fi lter
Wash the fi lter with water and dry it in a shaded area.
In extremely soiled cases, using a neutral detergent is recommended.
Put on rubber gloves when using a neutral detergent.
After washing the fi lter with water, make sure that it is completely dry
before reinstalling. Otherwise electric shock or malfunctions may occur.
Do not clean the fi lter with a vacuum cleaner or air duster. The fi lter is
soft and may be damaged.

Reinstall the inner fi lter
Check that the left
and right claws are
locked onto the unit

CAUTION
Pull the power plug from the power
outlet.
MEMO
If the fi lter is damaged or too
dirty to be cleaned
Replace with a new fi lter. A dirty fi lter
will dirty the internal parts of the unit
and cause shadows on the video
image.
To purchase a new fi lter or when it
is dirty in the internal parts, consult
your authorized dealer.
