K-Series Balanced Current Amplifier™ Set the mono mode switches. Both the Bridge Output and “Y” input switches should be in the OFF position when you’re running in Stereo Mode. Stereo Mode allows independent inputs on the right and left channels to feed separate speakers at the output. -

Clip: The orange Clip indicators turn on when distortion of any type becomes audible in the amplifier output. For the first time in its 50 year history, Crown has added clip lights to an amplifier. We had resisted this feature in the past because our IOC system was more sensitive than clip indica- tors. - Page 22 K-Series Balanced Current Amplifier™ IOC: The yellow Input/Output Comparator indicators are super-sensitive distortion indicators that turn on long before ⁄ distortion is audible (approximately the level that would 30th trigger one of the Clip indicators). This circuit compares the actual waveforms of the input and output. It immediately alerts you of any distortion that exceeds 0.05% to provide dynamic proof of distortion-free performance.
