CONTROLS

TOP AND FRONT PANELS
1 VOLUME 3, 4 (up, down) -
adjusts the volume level
2 DBB (Dynamic Bass Boost) -
enhances the bass
3 POWER slider -
selects the sound source for CD/ TUNER/
TAPE and also switches the set off
4 REMOTE SENSOR - infrared sensor for
5 p - 3.5 mm stereo headphone jack
6 Display - shows the status of the set
7 CASSETTE RECORDER keys:
PAUSE ; - interrupts recording or playback
STOP•OPEN 9/
- stops the tape;
- opens the cassette compartment
SEARCH 5 / 6 - fast winds/rewinds the
PLAY 1 - starts playback
RECORD 0 - starts recording
8 OPEN•CLOSE - opens/ closes the CD door
9 PRESET 4, 3 - selects a tuner preset
station
0 BAND - selects waveband
! MODE - selects a different play mode e.g.
SHUFFLE/ REPEAT CD tracks or
program in random /repeated order
@ PLAY•PAUSE 2; -
starts/ pauses CD playback
# SEARCH ∞ / § -
Tuner: - (down, up) tunes to radio stations;
CD:
- searches back and forward within a
track;
- skips to the beginning of a current
track/ previous/ later track
