Problem
The iPod® connected to the
BLUE&ME™ is not charged

Personal Data Protection

BLUE&ME™ Hands-Free Communication functions en-
tail personal data handling. In order to protect and to
prevent non-authorized access to personal data,
BLUE&ME™ has been implemented with the following
criteria:
• Personal data connected to hands-free communication
functions (phonebook and last calls) can only be accessed
after automatic recognition of your Bluetooth® wireless
technology enabled mobile phone;
• Stored personal data can be deleted using specific
BLUE&ME™ functions.
Probable Cause
• When the ignition is ON the car
recharges the iPod® unless the
iPod® is completely run down
NOTE: For further details on how to delete personal
data and phonebook, refer to SETTINGS FUNCTION -
MANAGING USER DATA.
Take into account that when leaving your car at a
service center, personal data stored on BLUE&ME™
(phonebook and last calls) may be disclosed or may
be subject to improper use. Before leaving your car at
the service center you can delete stored data and
phonebook from BLUE&ME™.
Possible Solution
• Remember that your iPod®
must have some charge or wait
a few minutes until the system
recharges it
