4 Cleaning and Care

4.1 Instructions

Danger of electrocution
• Switch off and unplug the appliance
before cleaning the mixer and its
attachments and accessories.

Risk of damage to surfaces
• Do not use steam jets to clean the
appliance.
• Do not use cleaning products containing
chlorine, ammonia or bleach on steel
parts or parts with metallic finishes (e.g.
anodized, nickel- or chrome-plated).
• Do not use abrasive or corrosive
detergents (e.g. powder products, stain
removers and metallic sponges).
• Do not use rough or abrasive materials
or sharp metal scrapers.

4.2 Maintenance

All service should be performed by an
authorized service representative.

4.3 Cleaning the surfaces

To keep the surfaces in good condition,
they should be cleaned regularly after use.
Let them cool first.

4.4 Ordinary daily cleaning

To clean the mixer body, wipe it down with
a damp cloth. Dry it with a soft cloth or
microfiber cloth.
The bowl and attachments may be washed
in a dishwasher or by hand using neutral
detergent and a soft cloth.
Wash the plastic pouring shield by hand
using a soft sponge and neutral detergent.
Dry it with a soft cloth or microfiber
cloth.

4.5 Food stains or residues

Do not use metallic sponges or sharp
scrapers as they will damage the surfaces.
Use ordinary non-abrasive products with
the aid of wooden or plastic utensils if
necessary. Wipe over thoroughly and dry
with a soft cloth or microfiber cloth.
Splattered liquids or batters should
be removed immediately using a
soft, damp cotton cloth.
