Connect USB
For Local Communication:
Connect the USB Type-A connector to a Type-A
connector on the Host Computer.
Connect the USB Type-B connector to the USB
connector on the cradle.

Connect XP20/XP30
Place the XP20/XP30 into the cradle to
charge the device.

Quick Start Guide
Choose

To use the modem for HotSync operations you must disconnect the
USB cable. The USB cable cannot be connected to the cradle and the
computer during modem operations. If the USB cable is connected, the
modem HotSync will fail.

Connect Modem
Connect one end of the standard RJ11
telephone cord to the cradle's RJ11 connector
and the other end to a standard analog wall
telephone outlet.
