- Page 3 5. Turn the reservoir wing nuts as shown in Fig 5.A to secure the panel to the base. 6. Fill the reservoir with water. Please note that the water level must be maintained at least ½” above the pump and ½” below the plug hole. If the water level drops below the top of the pump, damage to the pump may occur.
