IM P OR T A N T S AF E G U A R D S
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should be followed, including the following:
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE
1. Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponding to
the local mains voltage before you connect the appliance.
2. To disconnect, grasp plug and unplug cord from electrical outlet.
3. To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not immerse
the cord, plug or motor base in water or any other liquids.
4. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or
touch hot surfaces.
5. Ensure the appliance is switched off and unplugged if it is
unattended when it is not in use or before cleaning. Never
leave appliance unattended when in use.
6. This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the appliance.
7. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8
years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not
play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be made by children without supervision.
8. Close supervision is necessary when used by or near children.
9. Always ensure that hands are dry before handling the
plug or switching on the appliance.
10. Never operate the appliance by means of an external
timer or separate remote-control system.

11. Always allow the appliance to fully cool down before
cleaning or storing.
12. Do not touch the external surfaces of the appliance
during use as they may become very hot.
13. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or
plug or after the appliance malfunctions or is dropped or
damaged in any manner. If the supply cord is damaged, it
must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
14. Do not use outdoors or for commercial purposes; this
appliance is for household use only.
15. Always operate on a stable, secure, dry and level surface.
16. Use this appliance for its intended use as described in
this manual. The use of attachments not made by the
manufacturer, is not recommended and may cause a risk
to persons.
