PACKET ERROR :
Indicates the current reception condition by displaying, in bars and figures, the number of errors of the
data received for a certain period of time. This helps estimate the antenna condition, signal level and
other data.
Let's say that the levels with increasing blocks from left are named a), b),... e).
a) Good condition with no error
Picture and sound are not affected at all.
b) One to 10 errors for 20 seconds
There are some errors, but picture and sound are seldom affected.
c) Eleven to 30 errors for 20 seconds
Picture and sound may be noticeably affected by errors.
(Image freezes, block noises, interrupted sound)
d) Thirty-one to 100 errors for 20 seconds
Picture and sound are remarkably affected by errors. Image freezes
or interrupted sound may occur.
e) More than 100 errors
Picture and sound cannot be outputted.
The figures shown below the bars indicate the numbers of packet errors for 20 seconds.
This model cannot receive video and audio signals clearly if the following conditions are met:
VSB: LOCK, VSB MODE: 8VSB, SI GET: OK, PACKET ERROR level at a) or b).
AGC:
Shows the tuner AGC voltage at the current reception state. It will help you know the electric field strength of the antenna
input. The value depends on the input electric field strength.
