    Install the Sound Projector exactly in the middle of the wall, measured precisely from the left and the right corner. Position in a corner Install the Sound Projector in a corner at an angle of 40º to 50º to the adjoining walls.

    Initial set-up Connecting the accessories Make the connections as shown here (example: connection of a Loewe DVD recorder): Depending on the system, either make the Analogue AUDIO or the Digital AUDIO connection. As required, you can connect additional audio sources to the interfaces Optical AUX1/2, TV-COAXIAL, AUDIO IN TV or AUDIO IN AUX3.

    You can save up to three sound set-ups. This allows you, for example, to take different listening positions, the actual room or TV positions into consideration when using a Loewe TV with swivel caster control. These sound set-ups can then be requested again as required (page 15, 18).

    Initial set-up Connecting and setting up the microphone Using the microphone supplied, the Sound Projector evaluates the test signals it generates and can thus adjust the sound output to your actual room. ➠ Protect the microphone from heat and from direct sunlight.

    Sound menu functions for Loewe TV sets with RS-232C System Interface If the Sound Projector is being operated in connection with a Loewe TV set with an RS-3C system interface (page 10), some special menus will appear on the TV set.

    The batteries in the remote control are dead. Remedy Plug the mains cable firmly into the socket on the Sound Projector and then into a 0-40 V 50 Hz socket with protec- tive ground. Wait for approx. 1 hour until the unit has cooled down and then switch it on again.
