1.2.1. The 845D-MVT Mainboard The 845D-MVT mainboard is a Pentium™ 4 DDR platform. It supports a maxi- mum memory of 2GB and comes with 4 USB (vesion 1.1) ports. Onboard it has three PCI slots, one 1x/2x/4x AGP slot (which only supports 1.5V AGP cards), and an Onboard Audio (AC’97 2 channels).

USB Ports USB allows data exchange between your computer and a wide range of simultaneously accessible external Plug and Play peripherals. The 845D-MVT mainboard is equipped with four USB connectors. USB 1 and USB 2 are external connectors. They can be found on the PC 99 ATX connector. The other USB connectors are internal connectors and can be used to connect other USB devices.
