Connecting RINGMAX to the telephone system
Note:
single phone line only. Do not attempt to connect the
RINGMAX to a phone bank or multi-phone line system
or it will not work properly.
A line cord is enclosed in the packing. One end of the line cord is provided
with a modular plug. Connect this plug to the corresponding plug on the
bottom of the unit. See Fig. 3.
If there is no wall or floor socket available, use the enclosed "Y-adapter", see
Fig. 4. (If you have an old type of telephone socket you will have to insert a
4-prong modular adaptor first.)
