PROCEDURES IN CASE OF TROUBLES
PROCEDURES IN CASE OF TROUBLES
DOES NOT TURN ON/GREEN LED DOES NOT LIGHT UP:
* The Power cables are not properly connected (terminals +Batt, GND & REM).
* Power cables with bad contact. Check connections.
* REM without signal. Check whether the REM connection is getting tension of approximately + 12V
* Bad contact in ground connection
* Burned out internal fuses. Be aware, the right fuse must be of 0,5 A.
NO SOUND:
• Level control must be in minimum position. Turn it up.
• On/off channel switch is turned off. Turn it on.
UNWELCOMED NOISE:
• All RCA and Power cables must be checked in advance to prevent them from any trouble.
• Use suppressor cables for ignition candles
• Keep In and Out RCA cables far from any other cable, because they are more sensitive to
interference.
• Have a separated Power connection (+12V) for the sound system. For safety use an 1A fuse placed
30cm far from the battery.
• Have a good grounding of the Crossover: first remove the paint from the vehicle chassis at the
desired spot; then screw in the cable using a ground terminal; finally, to prevent from rust, coat it with
paint.
• Have the Crossover grounding spot the closest as possible to the other audio equipments used
together.
• Do not loop the ground wire. Avoid using many of it. Prefer a star connection, with all the wires
coming from a single spot.
