Low Battery Warning

When the keypad displays BAT with no zone number, this indicates that the system back up battery needs to recharge. If
AC power is out, the security system may shut down once the battery is below the operating level. When AC power is
restored, the panel recharges the battery. If the warning exists more than 24-48 hours after AC power is restored, it is
time to replace it.

Stop Chirping or Beeping

To silence trouble beeps due to a BAT alert, press [1 OFF]. The low battery condition will remain on until the battery is
recharged or replaced.

Obtaining New Battery

Order your system battery under My Alarm > Order Equipment > Replacement Batteries
or purchase one at a local battery supply store. When purchasing a replacement battery
from a battery retailer or battery supply store, it is helpful to take the old one to ensure
the replacement battery is the same voltage and amperage, as well as the same size. You
can also call ADT Customer Care to order your battery.
