Installing the Antenna

1. Power the device off.
2. Connect the indoor antenna to the antenna port as shown in the following figure, and screw on
the antenna until it is securely connected.

Installing the Power Adapter

Under normal operation, the Home Phone Connect is powered from an A.C. power outlet using the
power adapter that is included with the device.
Power the device off, connect one end of the power adapter to the DC input port and the other to
an A.C. power outlet.
 Note:
Use the battery only when there is a power failure or no power outlet is available. Ensure
that the battery has been fully charged before using the device without the A.C power
adapter connected.
