RIDING GEAR

Safe Riding Gear
Always wear clothing suited to the type of riding you
are doing. ATV riding requires special protective
clothing which will make you feel more comfortable
and reduce chances of injury.
1. Helmet
Your helmet is the most important piece of protec-
tive gear for safe riding. A helmet can prevent a
severe head injury.
Select an approved helmet which meets or exceeds
your state's safety standards and bears either the
Department of Transportation (DOT) label, the
American National Standards Institute label (ANSI
z90.1), or the Snell Memorial Foundation label.
