To use the D-LIGHT SYNC* controller (Indian, Singaporean, Mexican,
and Latin American models only)
Connect the D-LIGHT SYNC controller (not supplied) to the D-LIGHT SYNC OUT jack. You need
to connect the D-LIGHT SYNC controller to a lighting device** (not supplied). The lighting device
will react according to the control signals transmitted by the D-LIGHT SYNC controller upon
receiving music source from the system. For details on the use of the D-LIGHT SYNC controller and
lighting device, refer to the operating instructions supplied with the respective device.

Wireless system option (except for Russian and Taiwan models)
When you install the WAHT-SD1 (not supplied) in the DIR-TC1 slot, you can enjoy wireless
performance by transmission of the sound to the surround speakers. For details, see the operating
instructions of the WAHT-SD1.
Note
• Be sure to make connections securely to avoid hum and noise.
• When you connect another component with a volume control, turn up the volume of the other components to a level
where sound is not distorted.
