    5 FILLING THE INSTALLATION A fill valve for filling the installation is to be provided for. The installation should be filled up using this valve until a pressure of 1 - 1.5 bar appears on the left side of the digital display. Filling is to be done slowly and with the cap of the automatic air drain valve loose, so that the air is released from the installation.

    8 FUNCTIONING The Evolution EV AC boiler is supplied by default in “heating only” mode, for a heating installation only. Optionally, a domestic hot water storage heater (Sanit) and/or an underfloor heating kit (SRAC2/EV) may be installed, providing the installation with more features.

The value selected will be stored in the memory. 9 ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS The Evolution EV AC boiler is equipped with an electronic control for efficiently regulating automatic boiler operation. It also includes the following additional control features: 9.1 Pump anti-block function This feature prevents the boiler circulation pumps from blocking if the pumps have not been started up for a long period of time.

    10 E20 REMOTE CONTROL (OPTIONAL) Together with the Evolution EV AC boiler, a remote control (E20) can optionally be supplied. This remote control can be used to fully operate the boiler from any location within the home.

    10.1 Functioning without an external sensor Conventional heating installation (direct circuit) The maximum temperature for the heating circuit, hours of heating and room temperatures desired can be selected on the remote control. The E20 will calculate the boiler temperature necessary at each particular time, depending on the temperature inside the home, and it will switch the heating on and off according to the heating times and room temperatures programmed.

    Evolution EV AC NOTE: For mixed underfloor heating circuits, we recommend selecting a maximum flow temperature of NO HIGHER THAN 45 ºC, in order to protect the underfloor heating installation from overheating. 10.3 Functioning with a domestic hot water storage heater (Optional) When the boiler is installed with a connected hot water supply storage heater, the E20 remote control can be used to select up to 2 hot water temperatures and the hot water times desired.

    Evolution EV AC 16 BOILER MAINTENANCE To maintain the boiler in perfect working order, a yearly overhaul is to be performed by DOMUSA’s authorised personnel. 16.1 Cleaning the boiler To keep the boiler in perfect working order, we recommend cleaning the boiler chamber, exhaustion ducts and condenser on a yearly basis.

    C leaning brus h B racket 16.2 Anti-frost protection The Evolution boiler has a function for preventing damage to the installation by frost. This will function as long as the appliance remains plugged into the mains. Despite this function, and particularly in areas with very cold weather, we recommend taking precautions in order to prevent damage to the boiler.

    Evolution EV AC 22 ALARM CODES The Evolution EV AC boiler has an electronic circuit which performs continuous self-testing to detect any operating failures in the boiler.     For the guarantee to be valid, the burner must be adjusted by an official DOMUSA Technical Assistance Service. Observe the flame. If there is insufficient combustion air, it will be dark in colour and will produce smoke, obstructing the flue outlet.

Burner failures: We have already mentioned that the burner is equipped with a cut-out system indicated by a light. During the 2-year period following the start-up date, Domusa will carry out any repairs of original flaws or defects totally free of charge.
