The following safety instructions must be observed.

This symbol is used for special information about the use
of the appliance and conditions of use.
• It is essential that you follow these instructions in order to
obtain precise measurement results.
• This appliance does not in any way replace a medical exami-
nation. You should always consult your doctor if the measure-
ment results are outside the normal range.
• With diabetics, people with pacemakers and those suffering
from heart rhythm disturbances or arteriosclerosis and after
the consumption of medication, blood pressures may vary
from those measured by healthy patients. However, it is essen-

• Do not store the appliance in a place where it is exposed to
direct sunlight, dust or moisture. You should store the blood
pressure monitor and the batteries out of reach of children.
