1. TURNING THE GPS ON In order for the app to locate your position, the built-in GPS of the GEOPAD has to be turned on. To do so, tap on the GPS icon on the main page. The GPS is enabled when there is a blue line under the icon.

Wi-Fi access. 1. TURNING THE WI-FI ON In order for the app to download map data, the GEOPAD must have Wi-Fi access. Tap on the Wi-Fi icon on the main page to turn it on. The Wi-Fi is enabled when the icon is underlined in blue.

Now that the needed maps areas are downloaded, the Wi-Fi can be turned off. In order for the app to locate your position, the built-in GPS of the GEOPAD has to be turned on. To do so, quit the app and tap on the GPS icon on the main page of the GEOPAD.
