QUICK START GUIDE
for Forehead Thermometer
FIRST TIME USE:
• Pull plastic strip under battery cover.
• Remove 37.0°C label from display.

Turn On
Remove Press and release
protective power button.

Move hair away from forehead and place
scanner in the center of the forehead.
Press and release power button and
scan forehead slowly from the center
of the forehead to the temple -
wait for confirmation beep.
NOTE: Clean the area beforehand to ensure an
accurate reading.
The ComfortTouch tip makes it easy and gentle
enough to use while your child is sleeping.

Repeat
Repeat measurement if necessary--
following the instructions in step 2.
NOTE: The unit will shut off automatically
after approximately 30 seconds.
PLEASE NOTE: The unit reads an "oral" equivalent temperature. Add 0.5°C to get a
rectal equivalent. Take 3 measurements if readings appear low.
