The Do not disturb icon
when Do not disturb mode is on, you'll still see notification icons in the status bar to
alert you of missed calls, new messages, calendar events, alarms, and other
notifications.
When the screen is on, press VOLUME to manage Do not disturb mode
quickly.
Allowing prioritized notifications to bypass Do not disturb mode
Add important contacts to an exceptions list so that you can still receive their calls even
when Do not disturb mode is on.
1. From the Home screen, tap
2. Tap Do not disturb.
3. Tap Do not disturb mode, and then select Priority.
4. Select a specific length of time for Do not disturb mode to last, or select Until
turned off to end the mode when your phone is turned off, and then tap OK.
5. Tap the priority notifications On/Off switch next to the items you wish to
bypass Do not disturb mode.
6. Tap Calls or message from to select who can contact you while in Do not
disturb mode.
7. Tap Manage approved contacts, and then tap
exceptions.
To remove contacts or numbers from the exceptions list, tap
contact.
