How the Freedom Personal Safety system works. The Freedom Personal Safety works in two ways. First as an Alert button which when pressed will automatically send a user defined message and map of your location to your pre‐selected contacts. By simply changing the text of the message the Alert button can also be used for a number of other purposes, such as: • A quick way for field workers to inform the office when the have arrived on site. • Telling friends that you are at a party and to come and join you. • When holding a business conference telling multiple contacts exactly where you are located and inviting them to come and meet you. The second way it works is as a location system. You select which contacts you want to be able to check your location and a special “security phrase”. When one of these contacts sends you this pre‐selected “security phrase” the Freedom Personal Safety will send them a map of your current location. This can also be customised for any number of situations such as: • Checking where your child is when they are late home. • Being able to quickly locate where field workers are without having to call them. • Finding friends, family or colleagues in busy areas. 3 | P a g e...
