Use the f ollowing safety guidelines t o help p rotect y ourself a nd TAG GD3015.
Do n ot a ttempt t o s ervice t he TAG GD3015 yourself. A lways f ollow i nstallation
instructions c losely.
Be sure that n othing r ests o n the AC adapter's p ower cable a nd that t he c able is
not l ocated w here it can be tripped o ver or stepped o n.
Do n ot c over t he AC adaptor w ith papers or other i tems t hat w ill reduce cooling;
also, d o n ot u se the AC adapter while i t is inside a carrying c ase.
Use o nly the A C adapter, power c ord, and batteries t hat a re approved f or use
with this T AG GD3015. Use o f another t ype o f battery o r AC adapter m ay c ause risk
of fire or explosion.
If you u se an extension c able with t he AC adapter, e nsure that t he total a mpere
rating of the p roducts p lugged in to t he e xtension c able d oes n ot e xceed the
ampere rating o f the extension c able.
When you m ove t he TAG GD3015 between e nvironments w ith v ery different temperature
and/ore h umidity r anges, condensation m ay f orm o n or within t he TAG GD3015. To a void
damaging t he TAG GD3015, allow s ufficient t ime f or the moisture to e vaporate b efore using
the TAG GD3015.
When you d isconnect a cable, p ull on i ts c onnector o r on its s train relief loop,
not o n the c able itself. A s you p ull out t he connector, k eep it evenly a ligned to
avoid b ending any connector p ins. Also, b efore you c onnect a cable make s ure
both c onnectors a re correctly o riented a nd aligned.
