® Ensure that you place your finger in the centre of the scanner plate as shown below. The ievo ultimate ™ reader searches for up to 100 individual points on your print - so if you don’t present your whole fingerprint it may have difficulty gathering enough information to safely establish your identity.

CaRD REaDER WITH BIOMETRICS You may be using a card with your fingerprint for verification. This is called 1:1 template on card, meaning your biometric data is stored on the smart card and used to grant access into the secured area.
CaRD REaDER If you are only using the card reader function for verification, you do not need to use the fingerprint sensor. Firstly, you will notice that the LED at the top of the reader is blue, once you present your card to the LED it will begin to compare your details on the database.
