About The I-O Thin Client

The I-O Thin Client is a robust solution available for thin client computing in the IBM, Windows, Citrix,
VMware and UNIX environments.
Equipped with a Linux operating system, the product provides seamless connectivity to Windows,
VMware and Citrix virtualization using RDP, VMware View PCOIP and Citrix's ICA and HDX protocols.
The client can also be used as a web based client where it includes a local browser to provide instant
access to the internet.
Remote management is provided through the Pro|Edge Management Utility which allows the system
administrator to remotely access, configure and update the thin client.
Pro|Edge also supports the Altiris Deployment Solution. The thin client is shipped with the Altiris client
already installed and can be used immediately in existing Deployment Server environments. You may
need to purchase an Altiris Client License if you are not able to utilize an Altiris Client License already
installed in your Deployment Server.
The term client is used in this guide to represent the I-O Thin Client.
Consistent with our policy of continuous development, the product you received may have features in
