Disc-related terms DVD ±R / DVD ±RW DVD -R and DVD +R are two different standards for recordable DVD drives and discs. This format allows information to be recorded onto the DVD disc only once. VCR Operation Normal Playback Preparation: Turn on the TV. Tune the TV to the Combi Receiver output channel (CH 3 or 4) or set the TV’s source selector to VIDEO. If a direct VIDEO connection is made between the Combi Receiver and the TV, set the TV’s source selector to VIDEO. -
