    1. Preface This document is the Operation Specification of Portable transceiver for ATLANTIS 250/CE 2.     4. Controls a) Push Type SW Table 4-1. Push Switches Channel Up & Auto Repeat Channel Down & Auto Repeat LOCK This key will press and hold, it is possible to set Key Lock On/Off. This key will press the unit will be Triple Watch mode. This key will press, the radio will step to the next channel that has been memorized for scan channel.

    5. Display *The design is different from the actual design and is intended for reference only. Fig5- 1. LCD Displays TX (Transmit) - This indicator will appear only when the [PTT] sw is pressed and the radio is sending a transmission. 1W / 5W - This indicator will indicate whether the transmitting power is 1W or 5W.

    6. Tones 6.1. THE KIND OF TONES Power On Tone This sounds when Radio's power is turned on. Key Touch Tone (single tone) This sounds when a switch is pressed. Key Touch Tone (double tone) This sounds when a switch is pressed and hold for 2 seconds. Error Tone This sounds when pressed switch is invalid.

    7. Operations 7.1. COMMON NOTES 1. When all keys except [PTT] sw is pressed, back light lights up for 5 seconds. But TX Power Select temporary by [1/5W] sw is pressed while transmitting is an exception. 7.2. POWER SUPPLY ON/OFF 1.

    7.3. CHANNEL SELECT 1. Press [ ] sw to increment the Channel number. 2. Press [ ] sw to decrement the Channel number. *Continuous pressing of [ ]/[ ] sw for 0.5 seconds will activate the Auto Repeat function causing the channel to change at 100ms interval. *While scanning, this function is invalid.

    3. When it keeps pressing [1/5W] sw while Transmitting in the state of a TX POWER 1W. It is set to TX POWER 5W and "5W" icon appears temporarily as long as [1/5W] sw is pressed. Tx Power 1W Tx Power 5W (temporary) *Even if [1/5W] sw is pressed while transmitting in the state of a TX POWER 5W, it will not be set to TX POWER 1W.

    When voltage falls rather than Level 0, the right figure is displayed. In Battery Empty, all sw is inhibit and neither receive nor transmission Ex. Battery Empty is carried out at this time. It is necessary to charge or change new battery.

    *This function is valid when it is in Emergency mode or staying by Triple Watch. *While scanning, Memory Channel CANCEL cannot be performed. *If [MEM] sw is press and hold while staying channel in SCAN mode, the Memory Channel is canceled.

    7.12. SCAN MODE ON/OFF 1. Press [SCAN] sw in state of SCAN mode Off. It is set to Triple Watch SCAN On, "SCAN" and "TRIPLE" icons appear. 2. Press [SCAN] sw in state of SCAN mode On. It is set to SCAN mode Off, "SCAN" icon disappears. When "TRIPLE" icon is displayed, this icon also disappears.

    7.16 Free CH active ON/OFF (Hidden feature) Transmission and reception of 30,31,L1, L2, L3, F1, F2, F3 and M1 of 9CH are enabled in addition to existing MRN CH. The unit power supply is turned on pushing [1/5W] sw and [16/9] sw . Active Mode(4 Mode)/Inactive of Free CH changes.
