Connecting Your Keyboard
1. Plug the USB connector of the USB Keyb oard to one of the
USB p orts on the computer.
2. " A d d N ew Hardware Wizard " will p o p up with the following
messag es : This wizard searches for new drivers for: USB
C omp osite D evice.
3. A t the b ottom of this scre en click on the " N ext " button.
4. O n the next " A d d N ew Hardware Wizard " scre en , you will
b e aske d : What d o you want wind ows to d o?
5. Select " Search for the b est driver for your d evice
(recommend e d) " then click on " N ext " again.
6. The next " A d d N ew Hardware Wizard " gives you this
messag e : Wind ows will search for new drivers in its
driver database on your hard drive and in any of the
following locations.
7. Put a check on the b ox where it says " C D-R O M drive " .
8. Click " N ext " to start the search.
9. Insert the Win98 C D-R O M on your C D-R O M drive then click
the " N ext " button.
10. O n the next scre en you will g et the following messag es :
Wind ows driver file search for the d evice: USB Human
Interface D evice.
11. Wind ows is now ready to install the b est driver for this
d evice. Click " Back " to search for a different driver, or click
" N ext " to continue.
