    5. Connecting to a Cell Base Make sure your Cell Base has an active cellular data account. Cell Base If you need assistance setting up an account contact Buckeye Cam Service at 866-325-8172 ex 1195, or www.buckeyecam.com. Connect the power source.

    10. Antennas 10. Antennas The standard antennas provided with X80 cameras are small omnidirectional antennas that attach directly to the camera. The type of wireless transmission used is radio frequency (RF) line-of- sight. Generally speaking, this means that you need to have a limited amount of obstructions between the transmitting and receiving devices in order to get an acceptable transmission signal.

    11. Repeaters 11. Repeaters Any X80 camera can act as a repeater camera. This feature is very useful for extending transmission distance or transmitting over large hills or obstacles. Transmit over hills using a repeater. In this example, camera 1 and camera 2 cannot get a signal to the Base due to a large hill blocking the line-of-sight.
