What is Zoom-Ex®: Zoom-Ex® is an electronic magnifier that aids visually impaired persons in reading printed material. The user places a printed document under Zoom-Ex® camera, and Zoom-Ex® magnifies and displays it on a computer screen. Zoom-Ex® responds to commands instantly, supports text formatting for easy reading, weighs about 1lb and folds easily for portability.

Working in Formatted Text Mode Formatted Text Mode displays the snapshot of your document. It also formats the text so that lines fit the screen, no matter how large the magnification is. Forget scrolling left and right: you only need to go down the page to read further (and up the page, if you have forgotten what you were reading).
To go back to Magnification (CCTV) mode: By mouse: double-click anywhere in the text. By keyboard: press F2 key. By control pad: press button C. Note1: After you switch to Magnification (CCTV) mode from Formatted mode, Press F4 key in order to adjust sharpness. Note2: After switching to Magnification (CCTV) mode from formatted mode, camera remains off and the whole page is in the computer memory.

Using the Preview Window The preview window allows you to navigate your document, and assist you in deciding from where you want to start reading magnified text. Preview window may be a small “Picture-in-Picture” window in the upper right corner of the main window; or, it can be set to occupy the full screen. Preview window is disabled by default.
