Other Safety Considerations

x The mobile towers that Fire phone uses to connect calls and provide
access to services may not always function. Accordingly, you should not
rely on your Fire phone for emergency communications.
x Using your Fire phone while operating a vehicle is not recommended and
may be prohibited or restricted in some areas. If you are in an area where
using your Fire phone while operating a vehicle is allowed, always give full
attention to the operation of the vehicle and stop using your Fire phone if it
becomes a distraction.
x If you enable location services, your Fire phone will transmit location
information to applications that request such information, and those
applications may share such information with third parties. The location
data, which will be used to provide features such as navigation in
maps, may be unavailable, inaccurate or incomplete. When using
applications with location services, be sure to visually confirm that any
instructions are consistent with what you see before following them.
Pay attention to road conditions, closures, traffic, and all other factors
that may impact your safety.
x A small percentage of people may be susceptible to blackouts or
seizures (even if they have never had one before) when exposed to
flashing lights, light patterns, or 3D images, such as when playing
games or watching video. If you have experienced seizures or
blackouts or have a family history of such occurrences, you should
consult a physician before using your Fire phone.
x Engaging in repetitive motions such as pressing keys, tilting or moving
the Fire phone, or playing some games may cause you to experience
occasional discomfort in your hands, arms, shoulders, neck, or other
parts of your body.
x Discontinue use of your device and consult a physician if you
experience headaches, blackouts, seizures, convulsions, eye or
muscle twitching, loss of awareness, involuntary movement,
disorientation, or other discomfort. To reduce the risk of these
symptoms avoid prolonged use, hold your device some distance from
your eyes and take frequent breaks.
