bound so that you can start flying immediately. Should a
rebind gets necessary (eg. after a transmitter change), pro-
ceed as follows:
• Make sure that no other 2.4 GHz network (eg. WLAN or
other transmitter) sends nearby.
• The distance between transmitter – e.g. XciteRC FLY-
BAR 190 should be maximum one meter.
• Place the Flybar 190 on a leveled surface and insert the
battery.
CAUTION: The helicopter must be on a level sur-
face in the following binding process and may not
moved, because the GYRO system initializes itself
in this time – if you do not note that, the heli-
copter does not fly stable and is very difficult
to control.
• The red LED on the back of the receiver unit starts
flashing.
• Switch on the transmitter. Move the throttle lever to
the top position, then back all the way down and
hold it there. The binding process is started. After
about 5 seconds the red LED on the receiver unit lits solid red and a short beep indicates that the trans-
mitter is now bound to the Flybar 190.
• If you still cannot control the model, repeat the process.

At the beginning of flight training, it is useful to place yourself diagonally
behind the helicopter and fly away from you. As long as the helicopter
flies away from you, it moves in the same direction in which you move
the stick. If you move e.g. the right control stick to the left, the helicopter
also flies to the left. It becomes more difficult when you pass yourself or
move towards you, then you may need to move the control sticks ex-
actly in the other direction. To internalize this, the flight training described
below is intended.
NOTE: The following description refers to MODE 2
1. Rise / sink: Move the throttle a little bit. As soon as the
helicopter will take off, move the throttle stick back slightly
so that it just remains on the ground. Practice this a few
times to get a feeling for the amount of throttle and the
corresponding motor speed.
2. Forward / backward and left / right: Specify just so much
