  • Page 54 Convertible top and padded molding care To avoid damage to the cloth top and moldings, use only an approved Ford cleaner, or equivalent. Do not use abrasive material or cleaners. Wash with a high quality convertible top cleaner/protectant. If your car is equipped with a light colored convertible top, it will require extra care.

    The SecuriLock passive anti-theft system is not compatible with non-Ford aftermarket remote start systems. Use of these systems may result in vehicle starting problems and a loss of security protection.
  • Page 72 Only a coded key will start your vehicle. Spare coded keys may be purchased from an authorized Ford dealer. An authorized Ford dealer can also program your coded key, or you can do it yourself. Refer to Programming spare keys in this chapter.
