SAFETY NOTICE
Use the kettle with the base supplied only, and use the base with the kettle only.
Do not overfill the kettle, only fill it to the 'Max' level or lower.
Ensure the lid of the kettle is closed properly before switching on the kettle.
The kettle becomes very hot when in use, and must only be picked up by the handle.
Do not remove the lid from the kettle when in use, this may cause burns from the
boiling water or the steam created when boiling water.
The kettle has a built in safety switch off device. Should the kettle be turned on with
no water in it, the device will switch off the kettle. Wait until the kettle has cooled off
totally before filling with water and using again.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Before using the kettle for consumption purposes, clean the kettle thoroughly. Boil the
kettle using clean water and dispose of the water. Repeat this three times to clean the
kettle
The cord for the kettle is concealed underneath the base of the kettle. Unwind the
cord to the desired length, and connect the kettle to the mains socket using the plug.
Open the lid by pressing the lid release button on the handle and fill the kettle with
the desired amount of water.
Ensure that the water is above the 'Min' mark and below the 'Max' mark, and close
the lid.
Press down on the lower part of the On/Off switch to turn the kettle on. The power on
indicator light will now go on.
