" Clock
(Menu 11)
Alarm
clock : Allows you to
set the
phone to alarm at the desired
time . Key in the time, and press
(~) (0 K) .
When the alarm time is reached,
the phone sounds an alert and
flashes the text Alarm! . Stop the
alarm by pressing any key. If you
press Q= -) (Snooze), the alarm
stops for a few minutes.
If the alarm time is reached while
the phone is off and you press any
other key but ~(Snooze), press
D (Yes) to activate the phone
for calls or (D to keep the phone
switched off.
Note : Do not switch on
the phone when wireless
phone use is prohibited or
when it may cause
interference or danger .
Clock
settings :
Allows you to
set
the phone to show the current
time in standby mode, set the
time, or select the 12-hour or 24-
hour time format . If the battery is
removed from the phone, you may
need to set the time again.
Date setting:
Allows you
to set the
correct date .
Stopwatch :
Allows you
to
measure time for example in
different sports . Press
(Start)
to start timing and press <-=-)

(Stop) to stop it . When the timing
is stopped, ~_=) (Options) allows
access to the following : Stort,
Reset, Exit .
To set the timing to continue in
the background, press © twice.
While the time is running,
flashes in standby mode .
Note that using the stopwatch
consumes the battery and the
phone's operating time will be
reduced . Be careful not to let it run
in the background when
performing other operations with
your phone.
Note : Your phone must be
switched on to use this
function . Do notswitch on
the phone when wireless
phone use is prohibited or
when it may cause
interference or danger.
Countdown timer:
Allows you to
set the phone
to
alarm after a
certain time . Key in the alarm time
and press
(Start). In this
menu you can also stop the timer
or edit the time .
When the timer is running, M is
shown in standby mode .
When the alarm time is reached,
the phone sounds a tone and
flashes the related text . Press any
key to stop the alarm.
Automatic update of date and
time : This network service updates
the clock in your phone in
accordance with the current time
zone .

Note : Your phone must be
switched on to use this
function . Do not switch on
the phone when wireless
phone use is prohibited or
when it may cause
interference or danger .
You can set all the phone tones to
function in the desired manner by
selecting the desired setting group
('profile').
You can easily edit the settings of the
selected profile in the Tones menu
(see page 18).
Quick selection of a profile
In standby mode or during a call :
Press the O key quickly, scroll to the
desired profile, and press ~ (OK) .
Activating a profile and changing its
settings
1 . In this menu, scroll to the desired
profile and press 0 (Select) . For
example, Silent mutes all phone
tones.
Some of the profiles can be
replaced with profiles that you can
receive e.g . from your service
provider. For availability and

provider or other profile provider.
Select Activoteor Personalise.
If you selected Personalise, scroll
to the setting (see "Tones (Menu
5)" on page 18) that you want to
change and press Z~ (Select) .
Scroll to the desired setting option
and press QE) (OK) .
" Rename :
Allows you
to edit the
name of the selected profile .
The Generol profile cannot be
renamed.
" SIM services

This menu is shown only if your SIM
card provides additional services . The
name and contents of this menu
depend on the services available .
For availability, rates and information
on using the SIM services, contact
your SIM card vendor, e.g . network
operator, service provider, or other
third-party vendor.
Note : Your phone must be
switched on to use this
function . Do not switch on
the phone when wireless
phone use is prohibited or
when it may cause
interference or danger.
