used to obtain proper effects under su nlight conditions. Fi lte r
status may be dete r mined with the v iewf i nder. When t he Super-8
magazine is positioned in the came r a , the filter is automatica lly
pos i tioned inside the camera at the sa me t ime . When used wi th
indoor lighting, it is necessa r y to shift the f il ter so tha t it does
no t affec t light

sc rew. Refer to t he photograph shOWing the fil ter sc r ew loc ated
in the proper position for retrac ti ng the f ilter . Normally, this
screw is positioned in t he top hole. (accessory Shoe)
When the cartri dge is removed the f i lm counter w ill r e tu r n
to its orig i na l position.
If
the cartridge is removed before t he fi lm
is complete ly exposed , be su r e to remember the counter indication.
At this time, on y the portion of the film in
fro~t
of the ma g azine
w il l be exposed and wasted.
To sepa r a te the Super-8 magazine f r om the camero, open the
magaz i ne cover to the rear as when i nserti ng o r re mov i ng t he
cartridge. .There are spring releases at top a nd batlom of the
ca rtri dge compar t ment. Ho ld ing these with thumb a nd forefinger ,
depress and extract the magazine by pu ll ing.
