    This document describes the brief introduction for MITAC 8650 portable notebook computer system. 1.1.2 System Overview The MITAC 8650 model is designed for Intel Banias processor with 400 MHz FSB with Micro-FCPGA package. It can support Banias 1.5 G~1.9 GHz.

When the battery charge drops to 10% of capacity, the LED lights red, flashes per 1 second and beeps per 2 seconds. When AC is connected, this indicator glows green if the battery pack is fully charged or orange (amber) if the battery is being charged.

    1.4 Power Management The 8650 system has built in several power saving modes to prolong the battery usage for mobile purpose. User can enable and configure different degrees of power management modes via ROM CMOS setup (booting by pressing F2 key).
