Getting Started

Your Key Ring come with battery pre-installed, and batteries for Elite Pad
Base Unit are included.
Battery Installation/Replacement
Key Ring Unit
1. Your Key Ring Unit comes with batteries pre-installed.
a) With the reverse side of the Key Ring Unit facing upwards, remove
the plastic tab by pulling outwards from the Key Ring Unit battery
compartment.
b) Press the Center Button. Key Ring Unit beeps once as the Green
LED illuminates, flashes for 8 seconds, and then extinguishes. Your
Key Ring Unit is now ready to be activated.
2. Battery Replacement
a) With the back side of the Key Ring Unit facing upwards, pull the
battery door clockwise.
b) Place lithium CR2450 battery into holder making sure that battery
makes contact with the internal ring and the positive (+) side of
battery facing up.

1. See back of the Base Unit. Lift and remove the battery compartment cover.

3. With negative (-) end of battery to the spring in the battery
compartment, insert two (2) quality AAA alkaline batteries.
4. Replace battery compartment cover.
Installation of the ChildMinder
Refer to your Child Restraint System (CRS) hereinafter Child Safety Seat
Owner's Manual for instructions on lifting top covering of your child safety seat.
1. The Elite Pad should be placed under the top covering of the Child
Safety Seat in area where your child's greatest weight is rested.
2. Placement of Elite Pad:
3. Carefully thread Elite Pad Connecting Cord (Part A) through an
unobstructive opening in the seat. Take special care not to crease nor
stretch Elite Pad Connecting Cord (Part A).
4. Remove backing from Base Unit Velcro (Part Bb) and attach to a secure
flat surface under base of seat, on back of seat or other area that is not
within reach of your child.
5. Connect Elite Pad Connecting Cord (Part A) to Base Unit (Part B).
6. Match Base Unit (Part B) to Base Unit Velcro (Part Bb).
