Pairing Bluetooth; Satellite Signal Strength - Magellan RV5365T-LMB Quick Start Manual

Pairing Bluetooth®
The instructions shown here are for pairing a phone during
normal use. The first time you use Bfuetooth in your Magellan
Road Mate receiver, the receiver will automatically ask you if
you want to pair a phone. After selecting Yes the receiver is in
pairing mode. Follow the instructions in your phone manual to
set
it in pairing mode. After the phone has searched for new
devices, select
"Magellan"
from the fist. Your phone will ask for
a passcode. Enter
'1234'.
Tap Yes on the Magellan Road Mate.
A screen will confirm the successful pairing.
Satellite Signal Strength
To view the satellite signal strength indicator, tap on the Menu
button. The signal strength indicator can be found in the
upper right corner.
4 green bars: Strong
Signal
Blank: No satellite signals.
Unable to compute
position.
If you are not getting your current location, use these tips to
improve satellite signal reception.
Leave the garage or parking structure
so
the GPS
receiver has a clear view of the sky.
Satellite signals can be blocked by tall buildings, trees
or mountains. You may intermittently
see
a drop in
signal strength in these types of environments.
