    Introduction Thank you for selecting this Multi-Lingual Laptop Pro™ unit. This box contains one (1) Multi-Lingual Laptop Pro™ unit, one (1) adaptor (optional), and a user instruction guide. Please read the Notice to Parents carefully before you allow your child to use this unit. Reading through this User Instruction Guide with your child can be a valuable learning experience.

  • Page 10 ROM Card: Included with this unit is one (1) ROM Card. The ROM Card is designed for use only with the Multi-Lingual Laptop Pro™ and is not to be used with any other device unless specifi ed. To insert the ROM Card into this unit, please follow the illustrations shown in Figure 5.

NOTE: When operating this unit in Spanish, please refer to the alphabet letters printed in blue color or underlined with a blue line.

    Clock set Click on the icon to set the clock. Use the touch-pad to select PM or AM and then to input the hours and minutes. Alarm set Click on the icon to set the clock. Use the touch-pad to input the hours and minutes.

    Schedule (Daily) When this folder is opened the unit will display a full monthly calendar. The month and the year can be seen at the bottom of the screen. To enter a selected day you will be required to input your password for private security reasons if you have not completed the user setup.
  • Page 20 Row 1: Star icon . This is where you need to type in the name. If you want to change the star icon, click on the star icon to select if the person is a boy or a girl . (Please note that the length of the name can only be 15 characters long, inclusive of spaces).

    Modifying the contents of a saved address: Insert the ROM card and open the address to be modifi ed and make any necessary modifi cations. Press the ROM Card Data Save key . To confi rm, press YES. The address will then be updated and saved onto the ROM card.

    Capitals A question will be displayed across the top of the screen. You are required to move the arrow displayed under the question to select which letter(s) should be in capitals.     Anagrams A word will be displayed at the top of the screen with a related picture. This picture and the given word will disappear. In the space provided you are required to make an anagram, or a new word with the same letters.
