• Independent Operation:
- Proximity: swipe the proximity card or keyring.

• System operation for greater security:
- Card+PIN code: swipe the proximity card or
keyring+a 4 digit PIN code:

• Does not require physical reader-card contact.

• Acoustic and visual status data.
• Wiegand readers (WG-Data/Clock) allow the system
greater anti-vandalism security given that all the devices
are connected to the door controller and are therefore
outside the range for interference. The door controller
is installed in the interior area (secure area) and
the reader in the exterior.
• The reader can be used with other door controllers
which use Wiegand 26 (WG-Data/Clock) protocols.
• Wiring: 7 wires to the door controller.

Programming is done using the relevant PC software
to the central unit installed (ref.2405 or ref.4410).

• Independent Operation:
- Proximity: allows the door to be opened when a card or
proximity keyring is swiped.
- Keypad: allows the door to be opened when a
pre-programmed 4 to 6 digit code is entered.
• System operation for greater security:
card + PIN code (4 digits only).
• Capacity of up to (based on chosen operating mode):
- 1.020 cards/keyrings/codes/card+PIN codes with
MDS central unit (ref.2405).
- 2.048 cards/keyrings/codes/card+PIN codes with
CAC central unit (ref.4410).
• Acoustic and visual confirmation using status LEDs which
advises if the card swiped has been accepted or rejected.
